We will depart from Palau, the closest town to the islands of the archipelago, with plenty of parking in the vicinity.
From here, we’ll make our way to some of the most awe-inspiring islands in the area.
The island of Spargi is an uninhabited wilderness, and surely one of the most beautiful parts of the archipelago. The jagged coastline plays host to sheltered bays, golden sands and granite reefs. At Cala Corsara, you can swim in transparent water as you marvel at the curious rocks sculpted by the wind, including the famous Testa della Strega.
The Piscine Naturali (Natural Swimming Pools) are situated between the islands of Budelli, Razzoli and Santa Maria. Here, the shallow, clear water takes on bright turquoise hues, framed by granite rocks and small beaches. It is the ideal place for swimming and snorkelling.
Santa Maria is one of the few islands in the archipelago with inhabited buildings. Surrounded by the calm waters of the Passo del Topo (Mouse’s Pass) – a natural channel that separates Santa Maria from the small islands referred to collectively as Paduleddi – taking a relaxing dip is an unmissable experience!
Discover the natural beauty of Bonifacio, with its white cliffs, as well as the islands of Isola Piana, Lavezzi and Isola di Cavallo, which offer up a crystal-clear seabed and Mediterranean nature at its most beautiful. It is a fascinating tract of coast, perfect for those who love the sea and the open air.
